Mequon Nature Preserve Tree Surveying
The objective of this project was to survey tree saplings at the Mequon Nature Preserve. My partners and I documented, identified, and counted the different species of trees in plots that were marked. With the information we gathered, we were able to see the diversity of the Mequon Nature Preserve. We then relayed the information back to them so that they may conduct future research to monitor how the preserve is diversifying. We had the privilege of presenting our research at the Undergraduate Research Symposium held at Wisconsin Lutheran College on Saturday, April 26th, 2014.

Menomonee River Fish Sampling
The objective of this project was to gather fish to discover the overall health of the Menomonee River. With the data that my partners and I retrieved, we were able to give a synopsis of the overall health of the Menonmonee River. After identifying the overall health of the river, we wrote a scientific research paper and submitted the results the the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
